At The Goose and Hen we sell mixed breeds (i.e., chicks are hybrids), all excellent egg layers and most good dual-purpose birds of a good size for meat. Our breeding stock is mostly composed of Rhode Island red, Barred Rock, black Australorp, Delaware, and buff Orpington. All chicks are unsexed; we cannot guarantee males or females. If you end up with a bird you don't want, we will accept returns but do not issue a refund.

To get on our chick list, send an email to thegooseandhen@gmail.com. We do not take reservations, but once we know how many chicks have hatched, we will email those on the list with an order form. Chicks are available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, we will be doing multiple hatches (not limited to tentative dates There is no minimum order. Birds must be picked up at our farm.
